THUMB NOSE TO CANCER
AMONG QUEBEC'S 18-35 YEARS OLD

“Medecine has made giant strides in curing pediatric cancers over the past decades but when patients reach 18 years old, they are thrown alone in a system that is not ready and suitable to receive them. At this age, they are poorer than the average, they have lower chances of healing than children, and they attract less than 1% of cancer research funds. It’s time to get to work!” Francine Laplante, president of the Néz pour vivre Foundation.
